I'm glad I signed up too

I actually have dealt with quite a bit of multi- and third-cultural issues, and will probably talk about my own experiences at some point. However, it's finals week at school and I unfortunately don't have time for memoirs. Having a low-population forum to post on as I take breaks from my work is really nice though, so that's what I'll be doing here for another week or so.
Cool. I'm doing this in between being a husband, a father, a business owner, a writer, and an admin in the largest Linux forum on the internet. I'm completely with you on the occasional place to post during breaks thing. Plus, it's fun and relaxing to me to create, so that was the initial impetus for the site.
I wasn't at all complaining about the quirks. I was surprised you managed to get it so beautiful so quick. I'm sure all the little things will work out over time, and I'll chime in with my opinion where they don't

Thank you!
edit: I'm actually glad that you're using SMF, even if it is a lot more cumbersome than vBulletin. I think it's important to use, evaluate, give feedback on, and post bug reports for open source software. Even if SMF is a lot harder to use and less efficient right now, if no one tries to make the most of it, how will improve it to the same degree as vBulletin?
I agree. Plus, I like looking at different systems and becoming familiar with them. For me, it is a pleasure to learn how the underlying software works, then adapting from one specific piece of software to another becomes much easier.
