I think it would be useful. There is already a Recent Post link on the front page, but it currently lists the posts content. Going through the list is a little uneasy. I may just need to be used to it, I admit it

There is a short list of the five most recent posts at the bottom of the front page, right under the recent posts link. Would it be helpful if I increased that list to the ten most recent?

That way you would just have some simple info on the very most recent posts anyway.

I agree that the recent posts page is very different looking. I kind of like it, and I also kind of agree that it isn't as clear as I would like it to be. Having the content of each of the recent posts on that page is both helpful and overwhelming at the same time. I'm not sure yet whether I want to keep it as it is, or if I want to simplify as you suggest.

Let's give it a week or two and re-evaluate. I'm totally open to trying to figure out how to adjust this.
