---Forum Rules---

While using this forum, you must be kind and considerate at all times. It is expected that forum members will show respect to one another at all times. If this is done, the rest of these rules probably won't need more than a cursory glance.

It is our goal for this community to be a safe place for all ages to hang out, and for browsing at work, school or in the home. We welcome people from all backgrounds, philosophies, schools of thought, religious beliefs (or lack thereof), ages, genders, and so on. The goal is mutual respect and acceptance. Even in the times in which we may disagree quite strongly in our ideas and beliefs, in this community we will do so while choosing to show respect for the person with whom we may disagree.

Please adhere to all rules stated below. A failure to follow the rules could result in a warning, a limitation of privileges in the community, a temporary, or a permanent ban from the site. This text acts as the law of this forum.

--Usernames & Registration--

1. You must provide a correct email address on registration. Only administrators have access to this data. In addition, we request that the information you choose to give in your public profile be accurate, or at least whimsical and funny. Filling out most of that information is optional, but if you choose to do so, please either do so truthfully, or do so in a way in which it is obvious that you are not attempting to impersonate someone else. Also note that accounts will not be deleted, but if a member requests it, an account can be disabled and personal information can be removed from the account. The member list and contact information of this community will never be lent or sold and will be kept private.

2. You may only have one username, and once account active at a time. You may not operate under different aliases at any time. The only exception will be for staff who may have a second, normal member account for the purposes of testing features, not for general posting.

3. You may not impersonate any other person in the community, or world. Be who you are. It is not vital that you use a real name or give any personal information about yourself in this community, but please do not pretend to be someone you are not.

4. Members are allowed to have a link to their personal website in their member profile as well as one in their signature, as long as the site being linked to is safe for browsing while at work, school, etc.

--Topics & Posting--

1. Please use English on this forum. The use of other languages is strictly prohibited unless accompanied by an accurate translation. This is solely because we do not have the staff to police the site in multiple languages.

2. Language that would not be considered acceptable at work, in school, or in polite conversation as a guest in someone else's home will not be tolerated. There is a language filter in place, but it cannot be expected to catch everything, and some words are harmless in certain contexts and obscene in others. Do not rely on, or attempt to bypass the word filter.

3. Defamatory, hateful, or mean posts are strictly prohibited.

4. Posting spam (unsolicited advertising), trolling (posting inflammatory comments in an attempt to rile people up), flaming (rude, angry, or violent posts directed toward someone), and flooding (posting multiple times on the same subject) are prohibited.

5. Racist, sexist, or discriminating sorts of comments, links, and images are not to be posted on this forum.

If you find a post that breaks the rules, please do not confront the offense yourself. We ask that you use the report button on the message frame and let the site staff deal with it.

This agreement may be modified at any time. Please check it from time to time.
