Surreal Moments are those times when things are just too good/funny to be true.  I'd like to hear some stories of these.  I'll start:

At our mentor's house in Morocco there is a pool just across the street that always plays "club" music.  Music that is alive and has a beat.  Sometimes they are in English, sometimes not. 

Ok, so now that we have that established, time to start the story.  I was hanging up laundry at my mentors house, listening to the music, having a good time when all of a sudden I hear, "Hey Macarena, Macarena, Macarena"  Almost instantly the phrase came into my mind "The Macarena in Morocco with Maracca's."  It was too good to be true. 

Only later did I realize that "The Macarena" was only about 16 years out of date.  That is a moment that was just too funny to be true.

I love driving down the middle of the street in a city of over a million people and having to slow down to go around a man walking beside a cart being pulled by a donkey.

It is odd to stand in the old part of town on streets that are 1,200 years old, where if you stretch your arms out you can touch the buildings on both sides, and suddenly the crowd you are walking in (the river of people...) parts to allow a donkey heavily loaded with cases of Coke bottles to pass, and you have to jump quickly to avoid being run over.

I love having a conversation and forgetting which language I am speaking, then suddenly turning to someone and asking them a question in a language they don't understand and wondering why they are looking at me weird.
